I have read and listened in amazement about what is being said concerning homosexuality on Mars Hill College's campus. This is very disturbing to me. It doesn't matter what we think concerning this issue, but it is up to all of us to listen to what God said about this subject. I am so proud of young people, like Dirk, who will stand up for the truth. The young people on campus are so blest to have someone like him who cares and who can also help to show them how Jesus can come into their hearts and lives.

We are to love everyone (no questions asked) but we are NOT to love their sins. If we are a Christian, we are set apart to pray and witness to all people who have fallen short of the glory of God. God is a loving God and He is there for all of us, but we must take that first step to accepting His love and forgiveness of our sins in our lives.

I will keep praying for God's will, and His will only, to be done on this campus. I will also keep praying for the life style changes that must come in the heart of the homosexual. Being a homosexual has nothing to do with civil rights - It is a SIN! How pitiful it would be, if when we leave this world, we meet our Heavenly Father face to face, and have to give an account for leading someone in the wrong direction and they go to Hell because we gave the wrong advice to them.

Mars Hill College is a wonderful college - let's not change from the way we have been for the past 150 years. OPINIONS
