I am terribly disappointed that SGA voted with a consciousness of religious politics. I had hoped those on campus would view MHC as a Christian community rather than a Baptist institution. Because of my experience at MHC I spent years feeling the same as Blaise. I hope Open Doors will continue despite its status with the college. The members of Open Doors stand for compassion, understanding, and openness. May everyone's heart, mind and spirit be open to these intentions.
