I thought the forum was really interesting. And I understand that Christians differ on this issue, but I'd just like to state that I don't think it is up to us humans (Christian or not!)to judge other's (chosen or biological)sexual lifestyles by any means.

If sexual orientation being a choice or being innate is such a debate, that just proves that no one really knows the facts. When we don't know all the facts, we can't close our minds to one conclusion...it's just ignorant. I don't think God expects us to make a particular judgment if we are limited on our knowledge about sex.

We can't say we know exactly why people rape, have sex before marriage or wait, fantasize, watch porn...etc. or engange in homosexual acts! I guess there could be one perfect way to "have sex" according to the Bible, but we aren't perfect so how can we expect everyone to get it perfect? All these so called "sexual sins" I mentioned go on everyday in a lot of lives...Christians too, and I can't explain why...they just do.

I'm not saying it's okay or that it's Christian; I'm just saying it's the reality of humanity from Biblical times until now, and I predict it probably won't change! I'm not so sure if I believe that God has a certain standard for everyone like Dirk said, but If I did believe in a standard my opinion wouldn't change. Because if I am an imperfect human who falls short of God's standard...I'm just as equal as a homosexual human who is falling short of God't standard by being homosexual! So I should be loved, heard, respected, and accepted in the same equal way as a homosexual!

To deny this principle for whatever reason leads to OPPRESSION. The same oppression we must fight to liberate all minorities from! When people are oppressed, they are really not as free as the majority! America preaches freedom, liberty, equal rights, and happiness/success/respect for ALL....we talk the talk but maybe we should walk this walk; we believe in freedom so passionately right!?!?!
