Conservation Club Concentrates on Aluminum for Dorm Competition

Cans only...only for now
|
They say you never know what you've got until it's gone, and this time they couldn't have been more right. As many have noticed, the recycling on campus has been reduced to only aluminum cans.
There is a reason!
The recently re-christened Conservation Club, has enough members to handle nine locations with one box or three locations with three, but not nine with three. So, for now, we are doing aluminum cans only, but we are serving all dorms and the apartments.
AND, to spread the recycling habit campus-wide, we announce:
A CAN CAN COMPETITION!!
The dorm that deposits the most cans between now and April 15 (Income Tax Day) wins a handmade trophy and environmental bragging rights.
SO.
1. Drink like a fish (while obeying campus rules of course).
2. Drop your empty aluminum cans in the recycling box locate in your dorm's lobby.
3. Brag to your competition about how bad your dorm is going to beat theirs.
Meanwhile, if your dorm wants to organize to look after pickups of glass, plastic, or paper, contact Conservation Club Vice President Phillip Bost (pcb01@mhc.edu.) for instructions on how to do it quick and easy and coordinate with the Club.
of your dorm.

Brought to you by your Conservation Club
